This was my first experience getting tree work. Kevin and his team took care of a dead willow on my property, ready to fall at any minute. They truly went above & beyond removing all the branches/scrap afterwards, even blowing away the saw dust, which I didn't even ask for or expect! Kevin and his team are the best I’ve ever worked with. He is extremely professional and helpful. His team does great work and is fairly priced and is willing to give multiple pricing options if you aren’t quite sure how much work you want done. When grinding one of our stumps he discovered a wasp nest. He put on his bee suite and got the job done. He let me know there was a nest there after he already finished the job. I feel like this is going above and beyond. On another occasion he took down a tree for us that was right next to a fence & power line and leaning into our neighbors property right over their shed. When I need tree trimming or removal I only use Anstaetts tree service. Always prompt and professional with an honest price. Most recently, when I called for service, they recommended an option that actually cost me much less and gave me a way better result. They came to my house in warren county and removed close to a dozen trees located behind my house that is built into a hillside. Very professional from beginning to end. Anstaetts Tree Service was a Great company to get our tree removal and pruning/trimming completed. Kevin was professional, easy to work with and his communication was great. He called shortly after I reached out for an estimate and was at our house the next day. He was very upfront, helpful, open and honest about everything. We had some weather come up the day we were scheduled for our project. He reached out several days ahead to communicate and check in about the plan if weather would keep them from being able to come out. He checked in the morning of and was quick to reschedule because the weather was not safe for him and his crew. He was out 2 days later and punctual. He checked in to ensure we were still on the same page and was able to add an additional tree take down that we hadn’t originally discussed. He and his crew got straight to work and worked so hard the whole time. They were all very nice. Clean up looked wonderful. You would have never known all that work had happened! Today, we had a mammoth oak tree removed by Anstaett's, and it was quite the operation. The tree had begun to lean dangerously close to our house, so we knew we needed skilled professionals to handle the job safely. After receiving a very competitive quote from Anstaett's, we decided to go with them, and I'm thrilled that we did. They arrived promptly at 8 am and wasted no time getting to work. What impressed me most was their ample manpower and the array of equipment they brought, including a crane and woodchipper. Every member of the team wore proper safety gear throughout the entire process and communicated seamlessly via radio headsets. Their professionalism extended beyond the technical aspects of the job; they were courteous to my family, onlookers, and even neighbors who came to observe. Anstaett’s process was transparent from start to finish. Got proof of their insurance and workers’ comp certificate without having to ask for it. As a certified arborist, Kevin Anstaett is super knowledgeable about timing of trimming and how much to trim. Kevin visited and provided a written quote (the best of 3 we sought). One tree had snapped in half (leaving 30’ high remains!) during a storm and was dead— the trunk was nearly 4’ in diameter. And it was within 4’ of the house! The other tree, healthy, had limbs hanging over the roof and needed to be thoughtfully trimmed so as not to kill the tree. The crew worked to fell that big tree and we opted to get rid of the leftover branches ourselves. But they surprised me with stacking it all in one spot then breaking out a big blower and blowing all the twigs & bark out of the yard! 💕 I recommend Anstaett’s Tree Service without hesitation. Kevin and his crew did an outstanding job. Kevin responded to my text request very quickly and was willing to come over and give me an estimate sooner than I was ready. He was able to fit this non-emergency job into his schedule 11 days later (Thanksgiving fell in the middle of this.) It was s a tricky job due to the location of the tree which wasn’t accessible for crane use. Safety was obviously a concern of theirs, not only for themselves but also my property. Impressive from first contact to the incredible work Kevin and his men did for us. They took out a large, tall hollow tree on a hillside leaning toward our cabin, a large limb twisted and caught in trees at a 90deg angle near the cabin and several other trees that endangered our cabin in the event of high winds. The crew moved all the logs to an area on our property easy for us to use. Their cleanup is remarkable - there’s literally no gouges in our yard. We had 3 very large sweet gum trees removed. They were right along the edge of the road in our subdivision. The team from Anstaett treated us fairly and quickly! They started at 8 AM and all tress were cut down and hauled away by 12:30! They not only cleaned our yard up but the surrounding neighbors yards, street and sidewalks as well. This includes all of the sweet gums that had fallen all over. The team was knowledgeable and experienced. Every tree went exactly as they planned for it to fall. There have been other companies out and none of the others could tell what kind of tree is in our front yard because it's bare right now. This is the first company that could tell us what it is. Our 6 month-old kitten got stuck in a 60 feet high in an 100 feet high tree. I called multiple different people that could not offer help, but as soon as I got in contact with Kevin he was extremely nice and helpful, even though he was on Vacation. He offered for Chris to come to our house and help get our kitten out of the tree. Chris came fast, was very friendly, and rescued our little fur baby! If I could give Anstaett Tree more than 5 stars I would! Can’t say enough how impressed we were with Alex and his crew. From his quick response to our inquiry, stopping by the same day to look at our trees and giving us a quote, Alex gave us his honest opinion about a tree we had originally only wanted a limp removed. Informed us the tree was in bad shape and in danger of hitting our house. Turns out he was correct, tree was almost completely rotted inside and it was a matter of time before it most likely fell on our deck and house. Alex was in constant contact with us as weather didn’t cooperate for our original date, called to come and check the wetness of our yard before deciding on another date to do the work as to make sure his equipment wouldn’t tear up the yard. Showed up on time, got to work immediately, never stopped working unless it was to inform us of what they were doing, all 3 of them worked hard for 7 hours taking down 3 large trees, cleaning everything ( which in itself was a relief to us) Would definitely recommend them for any tree services you may need. Today, Kevin and his team took down an extremely tall locust tree with multiple sections to it. It was next to a detached building so it was a tricky takedown due to the height. Having hired many tree removal companies over the years and not being too impressed with most for various reasons, I am very happy to say that Anstaett Tree was the exact opposite! Kevin the owner came out the very day I called about the work to give us an estimate and even came back to strap the tree so that it wouldn’t fall before they got to the work. It kept it safe with all the rain and winds until removal day. Kevin also provided the workers comp and liability coverages along with the estimate for the work. No BS with these guys. They arrived on schedule the morning of the job with no excuses. They are very careful with the lawn and used boards to protect it. Kevin climbed right up the tree with his Go Pro camera on his helmet to record the work he was doing. How cool is that for a tree company! They have very nice equipment and everything went off without a hitch. If you need tree work don’t mess around with all the others. We had our trees pruned and some removed last fall and this company did a beyond excellent job. Everything from the initial consult, to communication before, during and after the job, and the fair price was beyond compare. They were careful to protect our property, were super friendly and explained everything thoroughly, and did not stop until they had everything cleaned up perfectly and were satisfied with a job well done. The trees they removed were absolutely a necessary removal and when the remnants of a hurricane hit our area the next day, I couldn’t be more happy that we trusted their advice for removal. If those trees had remained during that storm, we would have absolutely had property damage. This company has all 5 star reviews for a reason. We had a giant tree in the backyard that had about 5 large trees growing out of the one huge stump, during a storm one huge section of the tree fell. I knew it was dangerous for our kids and had seen Kevin (Alex’s) reviews and all of his videos of his work on Facebook. After reading the reviews I felt confident that he would be perfect for the job. I messaged him and he came out the next day to do a quote. Not only did he take care of the giant tree but he also said they could take care of all of the weeds/small trees/honeysuckle going along our back and side fence lines. The lady who lived here before us was in a gardening club and I have not been able to keep up with all of her plants in the backyard. Kevin (Alex) and his team gave us an amazing price to get it all cleaned up, came out, even in the middle of tornado weather, they didn’t cancel on me, got it done in between the storms, put mats down for my car and their equipment to protect the yard, they used heavy duty, professional equipment, meaning they got a huge job done in a matter of hours, they got here at 8:30am and were gone by 2pm. I was shocked at how quick these guys worked. Not only did they get the job done, but they also cleaned up just as well, there were hardly any wood chips left behind and we are sooooo excited to have a huge open backyard. I received a reco for Anstaetts from 2 neighbors and I'm glad I called them. Kevin and his crew removed 2 trees (40' pine next to house and 30' ash) and trimmed several others for me. During his initial visit to provide a quote, he was polite, informative and most importantly did NOT go for a money grab. I had several Emerald Ash trees that I have been treating for 10+ years which started to shed limbs. I expressed concern to him about them, he carefully looked them over and suggested trimming some of the dead branches vs. cutting the trees down. That's honesty vs. greed!!! He clearly pointed out some landscaping that would unavoidably receive some damage because of the proximity to the trees and absolute need to traverse it with his equipment so I could make an informed decision. He was very communicative prior to the job, providing timing updates based on weather and even sent me pictures of heavy duty pads he would use to further protect my yard from all the rain we had. Kevin and crew were efficient and were careful of my landscaping as much as possible. They cleaned up all the cuttings and even raked our yard better than what it looked like when they showed up. Anstaetts is now in my contacts and if I need tree service in the future, they will be my first and likely only call. Can't recommend them any more highly than that and I'm a very picky individual. This was a job on a farm in Hamersville, Ohio and I live in Dayton Ohio so I had to set this up after seeing the damage to our garage from a tree that fell on. It was holding our farm tractor after just talking to my neighbor who recommended Kevin. Kevin was very thorough. Communicated extremely well with me by phone call and text. Explain to me clearly what had to be done and why it had to be done the way he suggested by bringing a crane to lift a limb off the garage. He was able to also help me by freeing up the roof of the garage with the crane there so we could extract the tractor from the garage and he had to take out a couple extra trees to get the crane in and was very upfront about that so we knew what was going on. Since I was not able to be there, Kevin went the extra mile created a video so I could see what they had to do to get this tree off the garageCleanup was great and he was very easy to follow up with when I had to make payment bymeeting me to get that done. I found Anstaetts Tree Service after my husband recently passed away. I did not know what trees needed to come down, trimmed or had disease. I was unsure about what exactly I needed from them. I knew I needed several of the trees removed. I was grieving my husband, crying, just being overwhelmed with everything that had to be done with the estate. I was a mess. I called them and spoke with Alex (Kevin). Very professional, and very knowledgeable about being an arborist. He came out and gave me an estimate. For all the work he was going to do, I got a very reasonable quote. I was worried about my backyard being so wet and the weather predicted more rain. Alex assured me they wouldn't tear my yard up. The day before Alex was to start work, I had a family emergency and was not going to be able to be home, so I called to reschedule my appointment. Alex talked to me about the job, and I agreed to keep the appointment. He explained they had large mats that could be put down to drive on. He worked with me so I didn't have to be home, and I could take care of the family emergency, which was making funeral arrangements for a family member. He assured me he would take care of it. He said he would be at the job at 8:15 am. Well, it was 8:17 am. LOL I was very nervous about not being there, what if something happened? My mind was everywhere that day. I came home with the biggest surprise. I was stunned and started to cry. Alex had completed the job. He took 6 trees down, ground all stumps, cut a large tree that was done from a previous storm plus made my weeping cherry look alive and shaped to look like a weeping cherry. My willow tree had been trimmed and shaped as well. He took out some bushes and other than the chipped wood from the stump grinders the yard was all cleaned up. The brush was all gone, no wood was left lying around, the yard had been raked from the grinding stumps debris, and dirt all raked and leveled up. To my surprise there were no ruts in my yard, I was astonished at how these mats worked. I had called other tree service but they didn't show up to give an estimate. As most of us know customer service ratings are falling fast. From the time I made the call to Alex, he was able to offer me advice on what he thought should be done, yet he never pressured me. He was able to answer my questions. I had Quality Service during this whole journey with Anstaetts. His crew of guys that work for him were all courteous. Clean clothes and not on their cell phones. If you need a tree service give Anstaetts a try! He has very nice equipment, trucks, and the latest tools needed to do the job correctly. The way he keeps his trucks and equipment is a reflection of him and his company, you don't have to do a thing once the guys get there, they do it. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that was done for me. Alex is a special person to me. He took time to talk to me when I needed someone because of my husband's passing and my pain. He treated me with so much kindness and compassion and kept assuring me he would take care of the job. He did exactly what he had stated to me. I had a tree from the recent hurricane that was coming up the coast split from the high winds. I called at night and they were out to give me a quote the next morning. I just had a great experience with Anstaett's Tree service. They had to remove a 50 ft. tree in a bad spot next to a fence and along side a retaining wall . They even came out on a Sunday morning to do the job. These guys really know their stuff. They removed the tree without even touching the fence or the retaining wall. I can see why all of the reviews were 5 star. When they were done they cleaned up the yard and you couldn't even tell that they were there. Could not be happier with the service received by Anstaetts Tree Service. From the moment we reached out for an estimate Kevin the owner was right on it. In fact he sent someone the very same evening, gave us an estimate and got us scheduled same week. They arrived as promised and used all the necessary safety precautions. I had a huge tree that one of the big limbs split. It didn’t fall but the crack that kept getting bigger and bigger. If it had fallen it would have landed on my neighbors shed. This company gives nothing but 10/10 professional service! Friendly, professional, punctual. We recently moved into a new home and it had a red oak doing poorly due to previous owners damaging the root system. How do I know this? Because when Anstaetts tree service came out he knew exactly why the tree was dieing and was incredibly knowledgeable and informative in giving his quote. This was an adult red oak tree that was dropping limbs and was threatening a propane tank, shed, and our home. It was sad to see it go but I was happy to have such a good team take care of it. We had a huge tree that was ready to fall at anytime. When I called to see if they could look at the tree they said it would be 4-5 weeks out. I told them I couldn’t wait that long so I was still looking. They showed up the next day anyway to look at the tree. They immediately went into “emergency mode” when they saw how bad the tree was and said they would take it down that afternoon. The price was very reasonable and in less than 2 hours they had it down (between fence posts with no damage) cut up and limbs chipped and the area was immaculate after they were done. Anstaett’s Tree Service took a huge water maple down in our back yard that had a very large inclusion at the base of the trunk. He mentioned that it was eventually going to cause a problem and could possibly cause a threat of a huge lead to fall on our house. Kevin and crew (John, Luke, and Chris if I remember correctly) showed up on time and ready to hit the sawdust. As Kevin was to leave for some much-needed time with family, he and his team made sure everyone was on the same page. When Kevin headed out it was right to work for the crew. We had some storm damage to several trees that had an argument with our outbuilding. The crew was safe, courteous, and efficient. They were there the better part of the day and when they left it was hard to tell anyone had been there (except for the mess being gone). They went above and beyond what was expected. I recently had 7 trees of various sizes and heights removed. I am 110% satisfied with the work. All debris was removed which was a great benefit. I had a rather large pine tree by the house which had grown into a neighboring pine. This caused the neighboring pine to develop a lot of dead or dying branches. Not only did they take down the tree close to the house, but they removed the dead branches off the neighboring pine, resulting in a much nicer appearance overall. Respond to my request for an estimate very promptly. Came to my home the same day and provided estimate. The crew worked together and removed a 65’ tree situated between two houses that also involve power lines. It was amazing to watch them climb the tree and remove limbs and large branches and then fell the tree flawlessly. The other tree was trimmed and thinned and has never looked so good. We had a date in march but Thankfully I had my trees trimmed in December they were able to fit us in early. I live in a subdivision and I have 3 massive trees surrounding my house with many encroaching limbs coming towards my house in every direction and one house crushing limb on the back side of my home. They showed up when they said they would and got to work. They went through my trees selecting specific limbs and combed through some of the vegetation to allow wind to pass through. We had a pine tree on our property close to the house, a fence, a vehicle, another house. Kevin and his amazing crew got it down and cut up within a half an hour, saved 3 unlucky baby squirrels and took them to a rehab they work with. Kevin Anstaett and his crew were the best. I've worked with several other "tree services" in the area but have never worked with one as knowledgeable as Anstaetts. They were impeccable with communication, promptness, professionalism, and pride in their work. Kevin knows many people in the industry and never tried to fool me with answers where he felt I needed a different person for the job. He and his team came and cut down, chipped, removed 9 trees, and pruned 4 other trees in 4 hours flat. We contacted Kevin to give us an estimate for removing a tree that was damaged in a recent storm. After coming out and inspecting it he recommended immediate removal due to a large split running up the side of the tree. He took precautions to secure the tree as best as possible until he could make arrangements to bring it down. They had to bring in a crane because of its location. In today's business environment it's refreshing to find a company and owner who cares as much about reputation and customer service as Kevin Anstaett. We contacted Anstaett Tree Service to perform major surgery on a large maple tree and remove an oak tree along with a number of smaller trees. The weather on the day that we scheduled the work did not cooperate. It is December after all. Kevin was in contact regularly to keep us informed as to when we would get the work done. Communication is, among other things, something Kevin is very good at. After a short couple day delay Kevin and his crew arrived with clean, well-maintained equipment and all of the proper equipment to perform the work efficiently and safely. The ground that day was wet from recent snows. Kevin brought panels to lay out to drive his equipment over so as not to damage our yard. I recently had 7 trees of various sizes and heights removed. I am 110% satisfied with the work. All debris was removed which was a great benefit. I had a rather large pine tree by the house which had grown into a neighboring pine. This caused the neighboring pine to develop a lot of dead or dying branches. Not only did they take down the tree close to the house, but they removed the dead branches off the neighboring pine, resulting in a much nicer appearance overall. I’ve not met someone more passionate about doing right by his customers than Kevin Anstaett. His tree service has helped my friends and family all maintain trees and clear their land of problem trees. Anstaett’s Tree Service is worth every dollar, because you get a service provider who still believes their word matters and that quality service is what it’s all about. We thought about having a tree taken out of our wood line that was in a wet area and could have eventually fallen on our house. He came and checked it out, cut it down the next day.
